My dad was big into duck hunting when I was a little guy. He gave it up as he got older, couldn't deal with the wet and the cold. I've not had a chance to try it. Seems like something always gets in the way.

Speed Six with a 2 3/4" barrel. I bought mine a few years ago when I broke my wrist and was in a cast for half the summer. Couldn't rack the slide on an auto so i went looking for a couple of small(ish) revolver. Solid, accurate revolver and heavy enough to shoot stiff loads w/o discomfort. jb 8)

My grandfather carried a Colt 1917 on his AZ Border Patrol days. He was a big fan of the .45 ACP and always had one in his desk drawer in his later years as a contractor.

Nice to see the end result of the .300 Blackout. I had one and just couldn't warm up to it. Sold it and bought a .450 Bushmaster. That's been a lot of fun and hope to take it on a boar hunt in the next few months.

Darned nice guy! He was the first to offer some .33 WCF bullets for the '86 I bought. Still have a box with his name on them. Those I only load to go hunting with. They've accounted for a couple of boar so far.

I usually look for brass I can use, but for the last year or so the guys at our gun club have been picking up after themselves. Usually, they leave a lot of good stuff lying around.
