I've been seeing more lately too. I bought a box of PMC .44 Magnums at a show this morning for $25. Another Ruger came home with me today.

Bought a nearly new in the box Vaquero in .44-40 this morning. If it's been fired, it wasn't more than a few rounds. The guy I bought it from, a guy I've known for many years, said it is part of a collection of an old friend that isn't doing well and asked him to sell off his collection. The receipt...

Pretty obvious that there's a difference between the actions since there's a screw missing. Since I was strictly speaking of the revolvers in my possession there are differences between all of them and the the trigger pull, and trigger pull only, on the new Flattop is no better or worse than a coupl...

Re: No lever actions followed me home from the show, but...

I have two Old Models, this one I believe hasn't had much use and the action is a bit stiff. The trigger pull isn't really any different than a New Model Blackhawk and an SBH that I have that are about two years old. The Bowen SBH I have has been worked over and a great action and trigger. Windy and about 47 degrees out again today, but had a little time to get an idea what the new Flattop can do. That's an interesting configuration for a new Miroku with that length mag tube and 26" barrel. Their rifle versions are usually 24".
