It's disappointing that they are still having problems. I did eventually get a replacement holster from El Paso. It was the cross draw that I had ordered, but made for a New Vaquero and not the .44 Magnum, large frame.

Gave up after that.

A friend of mine had a pair of the early Kimber 1911s. Not impressed. Constantly back to the factory for feeding issues and were never reliable. I have read and heard that the new ones are far more reliable. May give one a "shot" as the local shop has had some decent sales lately. jb 8)

I shoot my Bisley convertible .45 more than any of my other Rugers with the exception of the Bowen SBH. It shoots far more accurately with the .45 Colt cylinder, but it's a lot of fun shooting .45 ACPs.

I get really good accuracy out of my 94P with the Hornady 265 and even better with the Sierra 250 JFP. I haven't tried H110 but I think it's fairly similar to the Win. 296 I've been using.
