I drive a Subaru Forester it gets 29mpg , We got a Subaru Ascent a few years ago because We need it to fit the Grandkids in . it has a turbocharged 4cyl. will tow 5000lb. A week in Tennessee , and last week in South Carolina 2,550 miles it averaged nearly 26mpg. they both really do well in the snow....
