Beaker ,I may be wrong but I think the only Marlin with a rebounding hammers are the newer .22's. I have picked up 2 new Marlin CF in the last couple of years. they don't have it. I won't own a rebounder.

If You are going to hunt and shoot with factory equivalant ammo get the Marlin. I have a 1895 and like it alot. one thing for sure,when You want to clean it or put a scope on it You can't help but Smile.
