Re: Rem 750 in .35 Whelen

I have one, shoots as well as my 700 with a lot less recoil.
It doesn't like light loads, seems to do great with factory Nosler 225's.
I hope this helped.

The remington 200 and even their 250 gr ammo is prety anemic. I think you will find that 225 gr will work best in your 35. Mine loves the 225 gr factory nosler.

Buy it. You will be sorry if you don't. I have a remington pump made in 1924 that used to be a bank guard gun. the 60gr. ammo is pretty hot but a lot of fun, it's one of my favorite rifles.

Go with the 22-250, it is a extremely accurate and flat shooting round. My friend Steve bought an expensive 223 with the 1-9 twist and has fought it ever since. I think it just does not do well with lighter bullets at higher velocities. I don't own either but the 22-250 is very similar to my 220 swi...

I'm in the dental lab business. Things realy fell off in november and stayed that way until this month, which is odd since most of my work is insurance based. I've enjoyed the time off and it was realy great while my wife was in the hospital.

I should probably stay out of this one. I could care less about the rebounding hammer and tang safety. What I would like to see a 94 chambered in 25-35 with a nice long octagon barrel or a 64 in 219 zipper. The fancy $1500.00 tribute guns in 30-30 they just came out with turn my stomach.

There is nothing that you can screw up with sand that you can't fix with glass beads, if they are the same size. I am sure your marlin has a bead finish.
