Single/Two Stage trigger on an AR?
I finally bought an AR. A Ruger SR556 to be precise. Let's not get into why. OK, my son in law is a LEO and he shamed me into it. Happy. His duty AR (top of the line) is hefty, smooth and has more switches and attachments than a 57 Caddy. Back to my problem. I have never been interested in these toy...

Anyone with experience with these? Years past I have been buying a a Hunting GPS brand chip for Montana and Alaska to work in my Garmin 76csx. For various reasons it has been two years since I last bought one. I just recently found out that Garmin will not support the HuntingGPS brand. Apparently Ga...

Getting "Skins" back from South Africa
Went hunting in SA in Feb and I am in the process of getting my skins back to be processed here in Montana. I know there is a period of time for pickling, salting and boxing and whatever else they do for shipment. Paying with a credit card through Loco has been far from simple either. I am working wi...

Bullard Rifle Fans
The May-June of Rifle Magazine has a good article on the Bullard rifle. The pictured rifle is a close representation of mine though mine has a pistol grip. The article is much more accurate than some I've seen with obviously some research done with Scott Jamiesons incredible book(s). The total number...

Every evening dinner was a different meat. Between my son and I we harvested Impala,Nyala,Bushbuck,Zebra and a couple others . Ostrich,Zebra,Impala among others were menu items on succeeding nights. Like so many of you I finally made it on a hunting trip to South Africa. To be more accurate Limpopo in the north east of South Africa. I'm going to South Africa come February on my first hunting trip there. North East SA , Limpopo to be precise. Wife and I took the gun in question (Ruger LCP II 22 LR) out shooting again. A couple times the pistol would reload but then not fire as if the firing pin had not rese...

Trouble with a Ruger.
I bought my wife a Ruger LCP II "Lite Rack" in 22 LR. Right out of the box it would only fire 2 maybe 3 times out of 10. Single loading, repeated restrikes, different brands no change. Light strikes the norm. Cleaned, bought a spring kit designed to cure this problem all to no avail. There is ...
