Curious. Imperial Wax has been my go to lube particularly for forming from one caliber to another. RCBS lube such a
poor performer that I threw my bottle out. The Hornady One Shot has worked very well and is what I use for large
batches of cases. Just my experiences ....YMMV.

Any of the previous three are dandy though 9 grains Unique a bit heavy. I have the same gun and anywhere between 6.5 and 7.5 of Unique will do any job the Special should be asked to do. 6.5 grains Unique is just plain perfect for 95 percent of anything I do. You havent said much about the circumstances. Is it from FFL to FFL? If so, US Mail is the least expensive. If its from you as an individual to an FFL, it probably has to go common carrier, like UPS or FED Ex. I dont believe its legal to ship a handgun individual to individual for any reason. An FF...

After many years (and animals) with a Shiloh Sharps Montana Roughrider in 45-70 I have a strong yearning for the same in 40-90-370 Sharps Straight (3 1/4). Much negative has been cast at this cartridge which makes it more the challenge.
