It is the angle of the gun in the holster that does the trick. You need that butt's centerline pointing upward (vertically) in line with your body. Combine that with holding the gun in, against your body and you can carry under a loose, dark, T-shirt. Heck, under a Loose Dark Tee I can carry a Redh...

OT - Concealment, Revolver vs Auto
Grumble. In many real ways I like my SP101 over my G27... But I just can't seem to be able to carry it with the same level of "deep cover" I can with the Glock. I just don't get it. They are the same size, but I can't seem to make the SP101 properly "tuckable". The Butt ALWAYS sh...

OT - Gotta love Chicago...
The Chicago PD "SOS" "special" unit is in trouble again... FWIW, alot of the Beat Cops are not too fond of the "Sons of Seargents" unit either. Why is it tha "special" in Chicago always seems to mean Crony/Corrupt/Mob? http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/...

My 2p. Guns are tools. Sometimes tools get broken. Some of my favorite tools are tools that either I or someone else has repaired. It sucks the long barrel that you were sold somthing that wasn't as advertised/percieved. OTOH: I know if my grandfather had been a gun guy, fixing his 100y/o 94 like th...

Gentlemen: WE DO NOT HAVE ANY GUN RIGHTS ANYMORE. The Brady bill and the required background checks made them a privilege. IF YOU HAVE TO ASK PERMISSION TO DO SOMETHING, IT'S NO LONGER A RIGHT . IT HAS BECOME A PRIVILEGE. We can clamor all we want about saving our 2nd Amd rights, but when we have t...

Re: gun control as racism
For some apparent factual basis for this belief, see the link at www.blackmanwithagun.com. Also if you can find it, "Gun Control - the Liberal Skeptics Speak Out" by Don B. Kates. There are several chapters exploring the racist origin of gun control to disarm those who didn't "qualif...

Sorry. I do NOT believe this has been blown out of proportion by anyone but the Race Baiters. They cold-cocked someone and started kicking/stomping him while he was down and unconscious.. i.e. with ABSOLUTELY VULNERABLE WITH NO WAY TO DEFEND HIMSELF. That's attempted murder. Period. If I did that, i...

Just heard from my local State Park... I was drawn for the Late November Park Hunt/Herd Reduction. :D IIRC that can be somthing like 3 deer with no impact on the State's "One Buck Only" restriction. Needed somthing to cheer me up. Now, back to work on the .9410 slug and the .357 Acc...

The Marlin is easier to clean from the breech, than the Browning design, because it's very simple for a user to remove the lever pivot (1 screw) and wthdraw the bolt out rearward - thus saving the muzzle from any possible cleaning rod damage, over time. It's also easier(cheaper) to scope or peep w/...
