John Purcell made the trip from GreenCounty, Arkansas to Clarksville, Arkansas, (one that I made 48 years ago) Together we then journeyed to Tulsa, Oklahoma to visit with M M Wright.
We found him to be well fed and relatively alert in his retiring years.
A good visit was had by all.

Jeff is an easy guy to meet. Even on a tight schedule he will slow down enough to acknowledge a person.
Don't ever pass up the opportunity to speak to him.

Yes is a 20"barrel.
Open sights at 50 yards with 73 year old eyes, shooting at a blurred center, produced a 1 1/2 group just to the right of center.

Just imagine the rifle with the old smooth wood oil soaked and spongy before and after the action.
The metal was all about 75%
