We did not make the case, we adapted an original vintage case from the percussion era to a transition gun,which is what the Daw shotgun is. The blown up gopher was shot with a factory 300 grain hollow point bullet. My loads are all done with 405 grain cast bullets and 5744 powder. That load will completely penetrate a buffalo...

I doubt they would be big enough. The guy that made these did it for a few years, but wasn't able to get bone big enough for the grips. He was using Bull buffalo thigh bone and they had to be really large. He has since quit making them.
