Been visiting it since the late 1980's. I haven't been there lately. I know the collection is large enough they could not show it all and would put some away and bring out others at various times. Lots of really nice guns and gun history.

Ray .. I load Prvi Partizan 150 gr. .311" Spitzers for my .30-30 ... use them single shot as they won't feed through the magazine plus having the pointy nose. They work just fine. I size all my cast bullets to .311" and always have.

No I don't. Sorry. But he tells me the guy he built it for has shot targets like this enough times to prove it wasn't a fluke. If you've never seen what Mic did to the Marlin's to make them accurate, it's quite a study. From the mounting of the stock through every piece and part of the rifle.

As far as I am concerned the only thing the 9mm has going for it is that it is easy on lead and powder. My practicing load of 3.4 gr. of Bullseye gives me over 2000 reloads from a pound of powder. Mixed cases and I did not weigh the bullets.

I do not know why they pulled it down. It was a skeet shoot .. a match ... and one of the judges walked up to the unloading bench, had the shotgun pointed at one of the contestants, and as he went to unload it he touched it off at 10 or 15 feet into the guys hip.
