I enjoyed the series and have gone back and watched a few favorite ones ... but I have most all the books and like them even better than the videos. I would rather read a book than watch a screen. Just my preference.

Good shootin'! And the photos are nice but that's about as close as I want to get to it anymore. I have become a "Fair Weather Shooter" at this stage of life. When I was young I shot in rain, snow, sleet, heat and wind. It didn't matter. Anymore ... well ...

Lyman #358665 160 gr. FP
This is one of my more accurate bullets in both handgun and levergun
When using jacketed bullets I pretty much stick with RCBS 125 gr. (both hollow point and flat nose)

And yes, Twyla did beautiful work. I am glad I have some of the pieces she did. Good memories. I do miss her. As Kr...

My dad’s old Chevy Apache (I think a 1960 model) with three on the tree was what I learned to drive with. I actually like the modern features……until they don’t work. I want a foreign market Toyota Hi-Lux small diesel. But I apparently can’t have one. The Hilux we had in Mozambique was an amazing ma...

I refuse to own a vehicle ... or even rent one ... that does stuff on its own. My truck does not have electric windows or automatically dimming lights or even lights that turn on by themselves. It has a stick transmission and if you want to unlock the doors you have to put a key into the door lock. ...

The egg-laying drops off during overcast and darker days. Those who are supposed to know say that egg production is stimulated by sunshine. The reason I like the safety replacement sight is that it is a lot like the sight on the Deluxe model of the Winchester Model 71, on the bolt. And as said, it gets rid of the crappy safety.

I read a report by an early hunter in the 1880's who killed a Grizzly with an 1873 .44-40. Re: Loose front sight on a Ruger New Vaquero
The superglue fix or the solder fix sounds like it should work OK and it does not do permanent damage to the gun like using a hammer and punch to "stake" the sight would. And one of those would be quick and easy!
