I like the "ONE BOOK ONE CALIBER" loading manuals also. I have those in the calibers I use a lot. Makes it easy to compare loading data from the different companies.

I don't know anything about "standards" but I do have a suggestion for whoever makes them.

Since I am using tools that I purchased 30 to 40 years ago, cast my own bullets using reclaimed lead, a lot of my reloading for centerfire handguns costs about the same as buying .22 Long Rifle ammo.

When we lived in Mozambique we had a cyclone pass north of us about 100 miles away. We got 16" of rain in 2 days. It washed houses away, washed roads and bridges away, killed people, and cut all electricity with downed lines and poles. Bridges were washed out and supplies could not get through....

Jim, is that a five-shooter? BTW, nice scrimshaw work! No, it's a standard 6 shot. John Linebaugh rechambered a Seville .44 Magnum cylinder to tight .45 Colt tolerances and fitted it to the Ruger when he rebarreled the gun for me. PS - my late wife did the scrimshaw. She did a lot of some years ago.

My old horseshoe rasp has milled a lot of gun parts! When I quit shoeing horses and sold my shoeing gear I kept the rasp. It's handy for a lot of things including laying alongside some aggressive person's ear. It's heavy enough it give good account of itself.
