The younger one likes soccer ... real football. Both are doing well in Karate, love to swim and run like gazelles. They like to shoot and are bugging me to take them deer hunting this year.

Back Home In Texas!
We had a good trip both going to Arizona and returning. Driving out of Texas was 75% of the trip. We took 29 West until we hit I-10 and then drove to Deming, New Mexico where we stopped for the night. The next day was an easy 4 hours into Tucson. We stayed in Tucson for 3 days and then drove to Phoe...

When I Was Visiting Paco He Gave Me A Box Of .22 Long Rifles.
The most unique factory .22's I have ever seen.
They are loaded with a 60 gr. bullet. To keep the OAL within specs they use a really short cartridge. Paco said he never chronographed them but figured they were 500/550 fps. He said they were accurate.- Fri May 31, 2024 8:03 am

I am on the road and was sorry to hear this. I shot with Mike back in the 1980's and there is a video someplace of us quick drawing against each other shooting 5 bowling pins off a table. We both were using .45 Colts.

Bullseye is my go to powder for the .38 Special and will be as long as I can get Bullseye. But I don’t try to go that low on powder charges. I understand that Bullseye was used to load factory .45 Colt ammunition for many years. I like it in the .45 ACP as well. The .38 Special loads are always ver...

Good information to keep in mind. I am sort of happy with my fingers. Blowing up a gun and losing a finger or two does not sound enjoyable. I remember data like this from back in the 1970s. Some target shooters blew up some 38 Specials with the 148 gr. wadcutter and 2.7 gr. of Bullseye. I shot some of them. If you pull the BB out of the nose and load the round into the chamber by hand so as to not damage it, they expand a little if you fire them against a concrete block.
