Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect (continued)
The Jackdaws are smaller than Crows but hang around in large numbers, noisy and love building their hugh nests in chimneys, they are a real pest . I have only one window overlooking my bird feeders that I can shoot them from and boy they know it, the slightest movement and they've gone. When I took ...

Keep us posted on the survival of the Apple trees the bark is pretty tasty I believe. My son assures me that there are some Squirrels about and that his boss has been shooting Rabbits in the walled garden, it sounds promising but I'm not convinced the numbers are anything like I'm used to down south...

My choices are restricted by draconian laws  but my first purchase would be a 16 gauge hammer gun, a lever section.32/20 Winchester or Marlin, a .30/30 again any flavour, a Savage 24 in .22/.410 and last but hopefully not least a Uberti 1851 .36 revolver just for fun. It's good to see the 16 g...

My son and I went to a gun shop north of the border in Scotland I was interested in a little 28 gauge they had but my son found an absolute bargain CZ .22 rifle with scope and silencer, it's quite an old model but in remarkable condition, we got it home and it didn't even need zeroing.

Thanks for the info on Pine Martens, I've never come across any and didn't know if they showed themselves or were more critters of the dark and shy of humans. It just seems strange when my son was trapping Squirrels here there were hundreds all over the place.
