The roads around here seem to be wet even when it's not raining, I think it's all the runoff from the hills so when the frost bites black ice becomes a real pain in the butt.

Wasn't it the Japanese that said behind every blade of grass in America there's a rifle? I would have thought any country that is threatened by anyone should encourage the private ownership of firearms. The Israeli government should know that better than anyone.

Yup the bark is always shedding too but the leaves are bigger than our Sycamore. I took the firing pins out of the hammer gun today, having spent about 40 years doing nothing they needed a clean and and some fresh lube, I'm still waiting for the police inspection so I may leave them out until then. ...

Mine was the Zoli Buffalo Hunter with a half stock, I'm pretty sure the lock had V springs, it was a .58 smooth bore, the one in the photo is a lot prettier than mine was.

Weather here has turned colder with more rain and grey sky, I didn't mind at the old place always had plenty to do and a nice hot wood stove to sit by and roast chestnuts. I used to spend a fortune on feeding the birds but here if you put out any bird food the crows ( which I ain't allowed to shoot)...

Six, I live in England and our slave masters do not allow us to buy rifled barrels without the police granting permission via a gun licence for that particular caliber.. Same for shotgun barrels but not so specific only a shotgun license is required and any gauge can be had as long as its smooth bor...

No it's not laminated but Beech sturdy but not pretty and the previous owner fitted a unnecessary but nice recoil pad.
Good shooting Will, are those Hungarian Partridge as tasty as the others?.
Bill, I think a few have been used in CAS they can certainly take a pounding.
