It's still frosty here in the morning and the wind cuts right through you, even the Squirrels don't want to come out to play...

This was just a few years back I had the whole tree to cut up and split, it sure kept me fit and warm through that winter.

We've had a few sunny days lately and the bikers are out in force again around here....

Some parts of the woods here look like it has snowed but it's just the Wood Anemones flowering.

All these years we logged on with very few problems and now with technology getting better everyday we find our favourite forum is about as reliable as two Dollar watch.... :lol: The UK had Storm Dave come through last night and heck it was windy, I bet my son will be cutting up a lot more firewood ...

Apparently the Gray Squirrels had squirrel pox when they were introduced here and our native Reds have no immunity so they disappeared from most of the UK and now Reds only exist in a few small areas. There are some places in the UK where any type of Dog is unwelcome thanks to our ever growing population of Muslims, if the situation continues I may require a emotional support dog of my own preferably one with very large canines.

Temperature around 45f windy and fees colder, roll on Spring my old bones don't appreciate my once favourite time of year anymore.

I took a walk around by the lake with my Winchester 20 gauge didn't see any Squirrels just Deer and a Hare. On the edge of the lake I put up a pair of out of season Mallards, I was only a month too late
