FYI heads up; The authority to issue CW permits only reverts to the State of Maine if the local town government refuses to accept the responsibility. there are small towns in the state with boards of selectmen who have the guts to handle the job. I'll take a stab at that one. You failed to include in your list of parts a very small ring. It might resemble a collet used in copper/plastic tubing plumbing. except that it's much smaller. I've had them break and fall out causing immediate concern. I addressed the problem at once so didn't experie...

I've been going thru some OLD files.
Back in July of '04 Geo. Madis had some firearms stolen.

Does anyone know if any headway has been made in recovery of these items?

Ahh, memories! In the '70's, Savage contracted with Valmet to manufacture a combination gun called the Model 2400. It was available in 308Win/12 gg or .223/12gg. Dried Hemlock; Acquire Hemlock Studs. Fresh production should be Steamed Green (partially dried to reduce shipping costs) as construction grade must be wet or you can not use normal nailing construction techniques. Just a "Heads UP" In some of Lee's turret models the holes are spaced close enough to impede the easy turning of the lock rings from OTHER manufacturers. Personally, I like the Lee lock rings so I buy them extra to replace the other brands. You, however, may find that unworkable. Oh well. ...

Confirming Joes' supposition. The #3 Speer does show several cast boolet loads for the most common rounds. No identity as to maker except for the 38 WC which is the Speer swaged round.
The swaged bullets are OK fun but limited in application when compared to the home cast product.
