Re: Got some shooting in today

When I was avidly collecting early Marlin leverguns, I bet I looked down the bores of a couple dozen in .25-20 before I finally found one with a good bore! I had a large number of Model 1894's in all the other calibers, and .44-40, .38-40, and .32-20 were easy to find with nice bores. Just something...

I read somewhere that both Uberti and Pedersoli use the local engraving school students to do the engraved rifles they sell. I assume advanced students, and most likely with a Master Engraver Instructor overseeing their work.

Got some shooting in today

Went out to the range this morning, and took my old Marlin 1894 Deluxe in .25-20M with me. It doesn't get out much lately, so I figured I'd give it a good workout. Took 150 rds. of .25-20, and shot our silhouette course out to 200 meter rams. The little .25-20 is a tack driver, and very reliable wit...

When it comes to Marlin screws nobody has any finer made screws than he has, and at fair pricing.

Be sure to pull the other screw first to make sure the missing screw isn't snapped off in the forearm cap hanger!
