We are good to go here in VA, but you may be in trouble in MD. IIRC, the mags have to be empty and stored separately from the pistol. It varies greatly by state.

Re: looking for knife info
I have the Bushman model, and while I haven't tested it extensively, it seems like a functional and versatile knife for woods/camping/survival situations -- kind of a one-does-it-all knife. Then again, I will probably never use as intended -- e.g., attaching it to a stick to make a spear. If I'm goi...

The 'environment' is NOT the motivation for all this stuff - it's just the 'reason' that the naive and well-meaning 'liberal' Democrats are given, to get them to support it. The goal is simply to do the same thing the Republicans do - "pick the winners" and get votes, campaign contributio...

I've tried appendix carry a few times, especially with my PM9. However, I sit at the desk a lot (or in a car) and AC doesn't really work for me. I actually find S.O.B. or 4:30-5:00 carry works better sitting down (except for the car). People, however, swear by the Smart Carry system, and it seems to...

I picked that as a load because it would in theory develope the 1200 ft lbs of energy required by Maryland law for rifle hunting for deer (or come very close to it). The 180 gr loads don't seem do that as easily even if they do kill deer more efficiently (or not as the case may be). -Kevin Wow, tal...

Interesting that no .44 was included in the list -- .44-40, .44 special or .44 mag. Although my preference would probably be .45-70 or .30-30, I just don't see me shooting enough of either to warrant buying 500-1000 cases to supplement my current supplies.
