If you don't have access to a milling machine, Mike, then you'll need to swap someone for their lower tang/receiver metal (and, no, the factory won't sell anybody that part), since not only is the lever & wood curved into a PG on your stock, the lower rear tang is also built up into a curve to ...

OK...with the current conditions, I've decided to get into 5.56/2.23 reloading. I've read a bunch about various primers (e.g., don't use Winchester SR, use CCI #41 and Remington 7 1/2), slam-fires, etc. I've seem recommendations for a primer pocket uniformer tool to ream out to SAAMI specs and ensur...

Yep, everybody'll be in the tall cotton - unless/until Sen. Feinstein's bill gets passed, which (besides banning 1K named specific semi-auto "assault" rifles) will make any previously-owned firearms (i.e., grandfathered) covered by her bill an NFA firearm, requiring the mandatory ($200 ta...

The Washington Post reported today that Midway sold 3 1/2 years worth of AR-15 30-rnd mags in one day (Thursday or Friday). The shortage of small game is not due to the predators. It is due to habitat loss. With good habitat small game will reproduce faster than most predators can keep up and if they do they will begin dying off from lack of prey. Your problem is that you live in California where the environment has bee...
