I don't know... The last new Marlin I bought was my Cowboy II and it was as near perfect as any rifle could be. Even the trigger was not the usual lawyerproof version.

Here in Florida where we were the last state to pass fence laws it's still legal to dispose of any thing or anyone who is harming live stock.

Bull sharks are the crazy ones. When you see one of those, it's time to go. A guy south of me here in Tampa Bay area had a 6' Bull latch onto his prop while the engine was at a fast idle. It ruined a really nice SS prop.

It's been a long time since I had a Mini 14 and I can't remember any cautions to this effect but has anyone ever heard of a Mini bending an opp rod? If it's possible said FIL might want to check his.
