Six, I also like the 257420 Lyman mould. I powder coat the little cuties and they always stay fresh. Shoot in my Winchester 92 round barrel rifle like a house afire! Posted a pic last fall of a brainless (literally) grouse. The last thing that went thru his mind was a Lyman 257420 made of COWW.

Blaine, single shot maybe. I had originally ordered it 454 Casull, but in the meantime I started casting, and have had some experience with the Casull round in a Ruger Super Redhawk. Been waiting since Dec 2014 for it. Shiela at Bighorn Armory needs my FFL info. They're building my 460 model 90 this week. Matt stainless 18" carbine, best grade walnut. Pics and a range report next week. Should have plenty of time to develop a cast bullet load in time for deer season.

Jerry, check with a local auto body repair shop. My buddy up here in St Maries Idaho gets body parts, doors, fenders and tailgates and such in humongous cardboard boxes. He's happy when I show up with my horse trailer and haul a couple away.

Decided to build up the three Anderson stripped lowers I got when they were $40 each, before the panic takes hold. Got one complete kit minus lower from CDNN, SS carbine 1/8 twist for $429. Got it three days after my on-line order.

I'll second what Griff said. I chucked a fired 22 Hornet case in the lathe, and poked a drill thru the primer pocket that fits my cleaning rod. Nath, PC bonds to the lead. You can place a bullet on an anvil and smash it flat and the "disc" will still be coated. Leaves no lead in the barrel. Can be shot at much higher velocities, the softness of the alloy being the only limit. The PC doesn't deteriorate with age, load today and sho...

Griff, the ones in the picture haven't been sized yet. I'm running them thru a .459 lee push thru, no lube. I have read that for higher velocities some of the guys are adding lube. I have not got into Holy Black yet. Lots of info on PC on the cast boolet forums.

Olloger. Pretty easy. Get a jar of black air soft BBs and a cool whip bowl with a lid or any plastic bowl with a recycle #5 on the bottom (lid fits snug). Dollar store.
