Re: Talking to an Earp

Cool, thanks for sharing. I talked to a Clanton last year I think it was. Terry "Ike" Clanton was his name. A direct descendant of the Ike Clanton from the OK Corral gunfight in Tombstone. The guy is an actor and also has his amatuer radio license. I too have my ham radio ticket and struck...

Re: Henry Revolvers

I have read elswhere as well that people find them ugly. Honestly, the look of it is what appeals to me. I think it looks fantastic. But I would hate to purchase on looks alone and then find out its not a good shooter. The only thing i have heard of from them that wasnt reliable was early reports o...

Henry Revolvers

I have been eyeballing the Henry Big Boy revolvers on the internet lately. For those who may not know, Henry makes a classic looking double action revolver in 357 magnum with two grip frame options, plow handle and birds head. I believe they also offer the revolver as a .22 long rifle. I really like...

Re: Cartridge Conversion Cylinders

Many, many SASS shooters use conversion cylinders in their pistols. While I don't personally feel the attraction, I certainly understand it. Are you looking at the "drop-in" type or the type that physically alters the gun into cartridge only form? If the former, you may want to go over to...

Re: Cartridge Conversion Cylinders

This 58 was a gift from me to my father over 30 years ago. Back when you could order them from Bass Pro or Cabelas for about $100. My father shot pyrodex in it and didnt clean it well. After he passed on about 10 years ago, I acquired it back. The end of the barrel looked like a rusty sewer pipe. I ...

Cartridge Conversion Cylinders

Does anyone here have any experience with the cartridge conversion cylinders that are made for cap and ball revolvers? I have a Pietta 1858 Remington revolver clone that may be a candidate for such device. I don't have any experience with the conversion and surprisingy haven't seen much about them o...

Of course your load is H4198- a powder I haven't tried! :D Honestly I haven't spent much time looking for a load for this 92, it does put bullets where I point it but it is no where as accurate as my Ruger #1 Bee. Thanks for sharing your data! This load is compressed a bit. I hand trickle and weigh...

The Bee may not win any beauty contests, but it shoots like a laser. Everytime I take it out, I am just amazed how accurate it is. Here is a funny little story. I went to one of my relatives house a few years ago that was hosting a "gender reveal" party for him and his wife's expected baby...
