I decided not to. 100-200fps did not seem worth it for me.
I'll never use a 30-30 for animals larger than deer or black bear, or for shots outside 200 yds and it is good medicine for that without changing anything.

Not correct or normal. Something is amiss..... I'm guessing this rifle has not seen a lot of use. Might just be gummy with factory oil, but my guess is the cartridge stop is not doing it's job. The cartridge stop is on the front of the lever-link, which is the bottom-most part on the receiver. Winch...

Maybe y'all could get a copy of the petition and take it in with ya to places that sell guns and ammo when you shop at those places. Just because folks don't have a CCW does not mean they don't want those of you who do watching their backs in more places. My wife would sign it. She does not have a C...

North Dakotans take note:

An initiative has been started to improve the CCW laws. Heard it on Tom Gresham's Guntalk. If you live in ND or know someone who does, this will improve safety there. They need something like 12k signatures and a few sponsors. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=4053513 I think his email is ...

As the ejector does not contact anything but the bolt and cartridge, I guess it is contacting where it should not. After 100 cycles, a wear pattern should be evident. Take it back apart and see.

One of the things GB does is the automatic relisting of an item. I see the same guns not selling for months and months. They are fishing for suckers.

Post your review of the tang sights you owned.

My Taurus tang needed some snugging up - a little woobly. I used blue loctite and broke it loose. I still have to drill and tap it to use the same apertures as the Marbles, Lyman, Williams.
