Bi-mart had 525 packs of Remingtons on the shelf yesterday for $18.00. While about double what it was a few years ago its still reasonable when you can find it. I can't believe anyone is paying those super inflated prices.

I vote for the 170gr. Coreloct.
Premium bullets are not necessary at the modest 30-30 velocity. The coreloct will do the job well.
And I do not trust the gummy bullets.

I am sure more expensive is better, but I have been happy with this Redfield 20x60 spotter for $200. Used it to easily see .243 holes at 200 yards last weekend with no problem. For the price I think its fantastic.

Was surprised to day. Stopped by Bi-Mart for other stuff, but noticed a stash of CCI Mini-Mags on the shelf. I bought a few 100 round sleeves for $6.49 apiece. As I recall that was about the normal price a year ago when not on sale. Still haven't seen any bulk packs.

I've been thinking about getting one of these pop up campers for my Tacoma.
Pretty low profile can still tow a trailer/boat. And manuver around in the woods with out ripping it to pices on trees and such.

I would like to try that trigger also, but I don't think the one it came with is bad, its not a target gun.

The only inprovement I made was the magguts swap, so I can hold 7+1 in the factory mag now. Its kinda spendy, but I think its worth the extra shot. http://magguts.com/

I can't believe how many people are defending Remington rimfire. It is the only rimfire that has consitantly been stuff for as long as I can remember. I will not buy it any more. Every few years in the past I would buy a brick and then swear at it the whole time I am trying to burn it up.
