Re: Tell me about the Winchester 94AE chambered in 45 Colt.

I have a 20” bbl. one in .45C and trappers in .44 and .357. For hunting and plinking they are great. For going fast in SASS matches, not so much. I shot a deer with the .45 with A Ruger load of H110 and 250 grain XTP at about 75 yards and dropped it in its tracks. The heavier 20” is easier to handle...

I will second what Jeepnik said. Red Wing Pecos pull on work boots are made in the USA. I usually get several years use out of a pair. I also use Red Wing Irishsetter
lace up hunting/work boots. Very comfortable and durable even though they are made in China.

I lucked out that my 2 .357 loads shoot to the same point of impact at 18-20 yards that I don’t need to change the sights from plinking/practicing to the power loads.

Ortho Orthene (Asaphate) best ant killer out there. bar none. White powder can be blown in cracks and tight places with old fashion duster. Re: How many of you have two loads for a particular gun?

I’m about like Samsi on most of my guns and keep trying for better. My .357 loads of 15.5 gr. of H110 under a 158 gr. XTP for my power load and 6.3 gr. Unique under a 125 gr. FP plated for plinking is working good in my 2 Ruger Blackhawks and Winchester 94AE trapper and Rossi 92. No such luck with m...

Nice DA revolvers fellows. The only DA revolver I own is a Ruger LCR 38+p and I think I need 😉 a RedHawk like Scott’s. That would be very useful with a 4” barrel.
