Re: Anyone else wish they had bought a dozen 336's when they were $200 at Wallyworld?
There's alot of things I wish I could go back on time and buy dozens of. Honda three wheelers (you should see what people are paying for them nowadays compared to the 1990s when people could hardly give them away), used lever rifles, especially Marlins which seems to have increased in market prices ...

Re: .38-55 leverguns
I have a 94 Big Bore in 375 Winchester which is essentially a 38-55 magnum. The lower end of the 375 Win runs about where the 38-55 tops out. I really like the cartridge and platform. Once I get to the point that I start collecting vintage rifles as opposed to modern shooters I would love a Rifle co...

I've been seeing a mixed bag of reports. A good friend posted pics on another platform of a new Rossi 92 in 454 Casull a couple weeks ago. He was very interested and determined to get one of the new 454 but was disappointed to find very poor wood fit. Obviously since he didn't buy it he couldn't spe...

I went and bought one at Bass Pro in Grapevine yesterday. I 'just happen" to have a Banish 46 suppressor to use on it. (had to order an 11/16 to 5/8 adapter though) It looks and shoulders good. I like it so far. Length of pull is a little on the short side for me, and I hardly ever notice that...

While I don't have experience with the Marlin I do own a Winchester 94 Big Bore in 375 Win and my first shots with it were not satisfactory. I believe they modify the existing hammer and trigger to revert them back to the half notch safety. As to the price for that job specifically, I'm not sure.
