Holster for H. Schmidt Model 21 revolver (.22 LR)???

Any recommendations for a holster for this old piece. They haven't been around for 40-50 years so it's hard to tell what current holsters would fit it.

Is there any current revolver with the same dimensions. Bearcat, maybe? Something else?

Why waste the money on junk...it will cost you more to have it fixed than what a new quality scope costs and you will still have what you started with...junk with a dark view. Because it was my grandfather's rifle; a sporterized '03 Springfield. And I'd like to keep it the way it was when he hunted...

Leather conditioner for old cartridge belt???

Belt is 50-60+ years old. Any recommendations on what to put on it? Was going to just put some neatsfoot/boot oil on it, but thought I'd open it up for other options first.

Also, should I just treat the finished side of the leather? Or, both rough and smooth sides of the belt?

Thanks, gents. I have both Lyman and Williams and they do interchange to a point. the threads are the same, but the length if the threaded areas vary, so some fit better than others. So you're not referring to the Williams models with the finished "long shank", but the actual threaded port...

Thinking about picking up one in 7mm-08 for my girls to use (and maybe one in .45-70 for me :mrgreen: ). Sub-$250 at Academy. Looks like a hell of a deal.

I shoot a lot of 32 long and 32 H&R. Reload and you can shoot at almost the cost of 22 ammo. The brass last a long time and the my load uses 3 grains of powder, 7000 grains per pound, so a pound of powder last a long time. One of those is on the list. When I find old single shot guns in 32 rimf...

Hmmm...the Ruger lady offered me a return authorization, but didn't say anything about them picking up shipping. Bought the gun new about nine years back. For true rural "truck gun" use, a Mini-14 with the flush 5-rd magazine is always a good choice. Like a little levergun, not a lot to get hung up on when pulling it out of wherever it is in the cab.

Very cool. I have the same fore-end, but bought Magppul's K2 grip, which features the more vertical AK47 grip angle and is supposed to be more comfortable for short rifles. Check it out.
