Re: Feral Pigs, a favorite target coming to an area near you...
If you think you have hogs in your area and want to bait them up get some whole corn and put it in a pan or bucket and cover it with water. Allow the corn to turn sour, then set it out in an area where you think the hogs are they will smell the sour corn a looong way away. We used to get a 5-gallon...

Re: Feral Pigs, a favorite target coming to an area near you...
We had something strange happen at our place: A few years ago, the hogs finally showed up. After about a year we stopped seeing them. They had actually left the area. I've never heard of that before or since.

The powerpoint will work fine for hogs. But if you already have the Partitions and want to use them they will also work very well. Can't say about anything else, but PowerPoints are deadly on anyone with an IQ over 80... (next slide please...) Well, they can also be "loaded down"...

You wouldn't want a "real" gate to get in the way of those retreating French would you?   Not in WWI. The French did most of the Allied heavy lifting in that war. They suffered massive casualties, had superior tactics, etc., etc. They were "the Man," so to speak.

My question is, if the Garand was chambered in .30-'06 because of all the surplus ammo, what is the reasoning behind the M14?
