I too love both RCBS and Redding dies but another option out there is lyman dies. I went with Lyman myself for 38-55 because of the cost and have been happy. However, I don't have any starline brass as I am still sitting on 500+ winchester brass so I don't know if they will work for the longer cases.

I used "Never Dull" once on stainless to remove some tough powder stains but for ink, rubbing alcohol usually does the trick.

It seems that 150-155 gr. bullets with IMR 4895 is the ticket. +1. Its what I use and it does well. I like hornady 150's w/winchester primers. I would suspect that something is in your chamber either from cleaning or repeated firing, maybe a piece of lead came off if your using cast.

It depends, I have had to send ammo back when I was in the army that had dented and leaked water just from falling in a mud puddle. Other times, I have known people who have found barried cans that people have put pictures and stuff in and it was dry from the 70's.
