You have good taste, Fred. I have a model 24-3 just like that. I did have to put a taller front sight on it. In fact, I shot it at steel gongs just yesterday.

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect
There is a commuter train that runs from about 40 miles south of Albuquerque to Santa Fe which is about 60 miles north of Albuquerque. It has happened on several occasions that the train has hit a cow while crossing Indian land. After all the thumping, the train stops, the rail employees get out and...

Since Obama was president when Biden was at the height of his corrupt dealings, it seems highly unlikely that he wasn't aware of what was going on. Of course, Obama was shielded by his "iron curtain"; the ability of the libs and the "news" media to scream RACIST at the first hint...

Years ago when our kids were maybe 3 and 5 years old, my wife and I drove out to Anaheim to watch the New Years Eve fireworks show at Disneyland. We got there at about 11:00 PM and the place was already packed. We thought that if we got into the park farther, we could get away from the worst of the ...

Fred, you'll probably think I lead an exceedingly boring life but I don't own a TV, I don't attend anything that involves crowds of people. Does that make me antisocial? Probably a bit, I suppose. There are so many things I love to do that don't involve other people, except no more than I can count ...

OS, what's the difference between watching a great big screen from a distance and watching a small one up close? Living in SoCal you must have no problem with crowds of people around you. Jay, I have a friend who used to organize group snow rides on New Years Day in the mountains. Knowing that most of the people he invited wouldn't show up, he'd invite 20 or 30. There were times when a bunch would show up, a number of them with 2wd ATVs. That was always a pain because we would end up...

Try a powerful water-based degreaser like Dawn dishwashing soap first. I have often just used brake cleaner for tough tar spots on my truck, flushed with water and then re-applied wax. No harm done.

I'm a little confused about three screw supers with recessed chambers. Apparently some had them, mine doesn't.

Talk about not being so bright. About 50 years ago I was shooting a scoped rifle across the roof of my car. I could see my target clearly but when I shot I didn't see the bullet impact. Yep, line of sight was perfect....bullet path not so much. It ripped a long hole through the roof, the bullet boun...

Re: An old experiment that I need to get back to
When the BH flat top .44 specials first came out, I bought one but the front sight at 3/8" was way too low to shoot the Skeeter load. I sent it back to Ruger requesting a 1/2" sight and after that it shot just fine without extremes in rear sight adjustment. Oddly enough, my Bisley .44 spl ...

Yep, AOL must be the sorriest ISP around. They dredge up the most unflattering pictures of Trump they can find; their headlines are about Trump allies the libs have had arrested. They offer plea bargains the allies can't turn down but they have to swear that they'll tesitify against Trump in return....

I have a heavy barrel model 10 that I've only rarely shot. It is probably a police trade-in and the blue is worn mostly where a right-hander's trigger finger would rub against the frame. I have never shot it on paper but that sounds like an inviting thing to do.
