Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect (continued)
I spent my entire career employed by an industrial sales company. During the mid 80s I was a manager (a miserable job) and I had salespeople working in various parts of Texas and New Mexico whom I visited on a more or less regular basis. During that time I flew an estimated 550 flights on Southwest ...

There recently was discussion about "soul-less" guns, the ARs in particular. I have a couple of 7 1/2" Freedom Arms model 83s, a .454 and a .44 mag. I regard them as outstanding tools but they are pretty soul-less. My 5 1/2" model 97 is much better in that category but not as sou...

Although I have a good number of rifles with bottle-necked cartridges, the only one I frequently reload is .30-30. I use Hornady UNIQUE Case Lube which is a paste and comes in a small tub. I wish I could find Universal. I do use Unique but pretty sparingly. I use #9 for high velocity .41 mag loads and Titegroup and 231 for almost everything else. I do use Power Pistol (7.5 gr behind 240 gr machine cast bullets in .44 Spl) and consider it to be an excellent powder. Oh, and I still use ...

I have several Super Blackhawks. Back when I was doing my best shooting about 30 years ago, my stainless 7 1/2" SBH was the gun I shot the very best. My load was the Lyman 429421 in front of 20.5 gr of 2400 and I could usually keep five out of five shots on a 12" gong at 100 yards offhand....

My shooting partner and I went to our normal spot on Monday and I took nothing but .41 magnums; four of them in fact. It's sure a wonderful caliber. I have two loads that I ordinarily use, both using the plain-base RCBS 41-210; The milder one is 19 gr of 4227 at about 1200 fps and the other is 17 gr...

I shake and have the jitters so badly that I don't do well with long barrels; they amplify my inability to settle down and hold fairly still. So I do better with the shorter barrels and my ability to focus on the front sight is improved as well.
