Re: Loading Manual question got me thinking..

In shooting 9mm CCW practice rounds, I think the priority is in developing or maintaining form and muscle memory. Accuracy is secondary. 9mm is about the only caliber with which I don't shoot cast bullets. I have bought factory ammo only once and that was to load in carry guns for reasons of legalit...

Echo, the front sight height is .475" from bottom of dovetail. A couple of years ago I ordered 2 front sights from Midway. I must have used one on another lever action. This one fits fine but I had to trim the front of it to clear the barrel band. The front sight height is still high enough to ...

Brian, I've had Toyotas for decades. Before I retired I used to drive 2 wheel drive, standard cab pickups for around 800 miles per week. They worked incredibly well for my needs; the 4 cylinder trucks got 28 to 32 miles per gallon depending where in the state I was working. I ended up with 441,000 m...

The inexpensive Lee case trimmer would work well (you can use just a hand held drill for that). When I began loading for my .30 Herrett I used a Dremel tool cutoff wheel with which I cut the necks long, then used either a Lee case trimmer or my Forster case trimmer to do the final trim.
