Re: Good day at the gunshow
It used to be that major gun shows were held at the NM state fairgrounds but our illustrious governor declared that no gun transactions would be held in state-owned buildings and shut down the large buildings at the fairgrounds. I'm sure she's just so proud that she saved the world.

Re: Loading the Peacemaker, Colt’s Model P
I used Titegroup in .45 Colt loads for several years with good success, filed down front sights on several fixed-sight revolvers to bring point of aim to point of impact. It's clean, very economical and gets astoundingly low standard deviations. But, I wanted to use slower powders so took the advice...

As much as I enjoy Tank Hoover's writing for instance, I have seen several of his articles in which his word usage and spelling were horrible. Since reading those, his editors most certainly have intervened and paid closer attention to po...

The inexpensive Lee case trimmer would work well (you can use just a hand held drill for that). When I began loading for my .30 Herrett I used a Dremel tool cutoff wheel with which I cut the necks long, then used either a Lee case trimmer or my Forster case trimmer to do the final trim.

I no lomger use the Lee Factory Crimp Die on oversized bullets. I frequently size cast bullets for my SAAs to .453" diameter and the FCD pushes them down into the case.

A 60 or so grain bullet is likely the heaviest that can be shot in a rifle with standard twist. Shooting 70 or more grain projectiles requires a shorter twist to properly stabilize them.
