I have jumper cables in both my wifes car and my truck, still haul stuff in my truck bed, after all trucks are for using, not for family stuff, unless traveling, grew up around farms and ranches, and we all had trucks

even though my truck is electric everything , doors, windows, 4x4, ac, heater, I still drive with my windows down, elbow hanging out the window, listening to my cd I recorded my self, as the radio does not play the music I like, and grew up with.

I really enjoyed that magazine, and am sorry to see them go.
I had a subscription to AMERICAN GUNSMITH, magazine, and they too went out of business.

just so anyone is interested Steves gunz has walnut stocks for Rossi 92s for about 300 dollars, I may save up and get two sets, one for my 38/357 and the other for my 45 colt/454 casull

Yes it is , and I got one, and took it out and shot 45 colt loads, both factory and my reloads, and everything worked like it was supposed too. No scratched cases, no bulged cases, and was fun to shoot. To be honest will probably shoot more 45 colt loads than 454

Like I said, I have two of the new ones. A 38/357 and the new 45 colt/454. I have put about 30 rounds thru both of them, no buldged cases, no scratched cases, no feeding problems, but will keep an eyefor any problems,
I will keep shooting them and see what happens.

I have to be honest , but I have not had that problem. I fired so far to see how the 45 colts functioned and so far , no bulges, no hang ups, and I used both factory rounds and some of my reloads. Have been thinking and looking at the Cimarron 1886s that are built by Uberti. I have a Uberti EL PATRON revolver and it is a fine gun. Does anyone have any experience with any of these from Cimarron?

I have one of the Henry ALL WEATHER, 18.5 INCH BARREL WITH THE LOADING GATE , AND IT LOOKS RATHER LIKE A MARLIN. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT IT ALSO LOADS AND UNLOADS THRU THE MAG TUBE.
I put a skinner peep sight and it works wonderful, and looks awesome

I have heard the exterior part of the magazine tube is screwed into the receiver, much like the Henry's are. For a heavy recoiling carbine that makes a lot of sense. I would like to see more of their carbines with that style of magazine tube. Makes unloading a cinch, and do not have to cycle the car...

I just measured the old dovetail on the Rossi sights I removed and with my dial caliper measures 3.85 but this sight I got from Steve's Gunz went right in

I purchased a new Rossi 38/357 and got both a new front and rear sight from STEVE'S GUNZ and they both were Marbles sights made for the new Rossi's.
old sights drifted out to the right, and new sight went right in. Steves's says these sights are made for the Rossi

from what I understand they would work very well, but you might be recoil sensitive to the hotter loads. I figure if they would hold 357 mag, and others 44 mag, should handle the 45 colt loads equally well
