My favorite old uncle gave me a m1917 machine gun quadrant he bought for .50 cents many years ago. It is set up for Rads but he needed degrees and he found a simple{to Him} method. I do not know when they went to the centerfire primed case that we are familiar with, I do have a number of 45-70 .50-70 and .45 caliber revolver cartridges that are made of copper instead of brass and at first glance appear to be rimfires. They also have an odd looking crimp in the case head, Corre...

A .41 Swiss Vertelli converted to centerfire. I use cut down .348 cases and cast .429 swc bullets.with a full case of fffg the thirteen shot bolt gun is a fine shooter though quite heavy for such a small cartridge. its fairly cheap in that no special dies are needed, just a .44mag sizing die. creosote
