I have taken two Coyotes with my Marlin 1895 in 45-70. I used a RD 460-350 gr RF cast bullets on both of them. I want a good hit to be fatal with these critters. So this is one of my ideal rifles and cartridges for 'yote hunting. I know this cartridge and rifle can be used for elk, bear and whatever...

Identify this Lever Gun

In the movies Resident Evil - Extinction, the character Claire Redfield, was loading a lever gun with bullets that look like 45 ACPs.

What lever gun is this?

Pewter, one formula is 90% tin, 10% copper. Nearly armor piercing in hardness.

I use Barnes and other solids for hunting, so the meat stays intact.

Andrew,

I have a 1895 in 45-70 and another 336 in 35 Remington. I may look into the 444 Marlin cartridge, I can get a Contender in that caliber and JD Jones lives up the road from me. So think of the combinations.

This is a brand new one from the factory. My eyes are suffering some from old age, so scopes are becoming common place for me.

I would try a Tang site, but I would end up back with the scope.

Anyone have any brass to spare?
