^^^^ Thanks 44shooter, there is one for sale on gun broker right now for the "buy it now" price of $3495 and seller makes it sound like a one of a kind, so that's why I was wondering if they were super rare or not..

I snapped a few more pics, there is definitely some marks under the barrel near the muzzle. It does not appear to me that the barrel has been cut down, but I am far from an expert. Thanks for the help, guys. The barrel crown looks original but the magazine has been cut down and the dovetail filled....
