OT Rangefinders
I have no idea how to rate these or anything else about them. Can anyone offer any information?

Re: OT Rangefinders
86er recommended the Leica to me.
Perfect. I went with the Pinmaster as I'll never be taking a 900 yard shot and it was cheaper. The LRF series. Got it for about $250.

Re: OT Rangefinders
The rangefinders usefulness depends on several factors. Quality of glass, refraction, "power" of laser and filters. I have used two Bushnell products and one Nikon. I went with the Leica 900 (square box - 9V battery) and if it goes down I'll get another one. The difference is that much. If you will range deer size critters out to 150 yards the other products will work for you very well. If you are trying to get a reading on game at hundreds of yards, using in direct sunlight, low light, fog/haze, rain, - and you are depending on it, the Leica is hard to beat. And, I personally like the 9V battery over the less common 123 battery or others. The glass is good enough to use as a 7X monocular (I think its 9X on Tycers model).
