Help pricing a Lever (large pics)

Post by 3t- »

Folks,

I'm thinking of thinning the gun safe a bit and am considering selling/trading this Win. 94 .357 Trapper. It shoots great but the problem is I just don't shoot it much. I have several Ruger Bisley 44mags and am looking to replace this Trapper with a 44mag Trapper. The gun was bought new by me and except for one sling swivel blunder it is pretty much just as it came out of the box. I have not taken it to a gunsmith to repair the swivel hole cuz I figure the person who buys it will want to have the work done to their specifications.

Here is where I need your help:

If you were selling what would you ask for this gun? I could not find any current/recent sales on gunbroker or guns America to reference.

Thanks for any advice.

with the hole in the nice walnut furniture, and the crossbolt safety, $400-$700 depending on how lucky you are. I've been watching that particular gun on GB for two years. Lots sell in the $475 range. The tang safety ones go for more.
Kind regards,

If I was selling it on gunbroker I think it would bring 450. If I asked 450 locally it could sit indefinitely. Locally I would ask 350 and I would still probably sit on it a while.

Ditto on the West coast.

Thanks Guys,

That is about where I figured it would be. Maybe I'll put together a little "package" deal and list it on the Classifieds board and see what happens.

Great little gun, it should go to someone who will shoot it more.
