Anyone heard of Mitchel Revolvers?
Local store has a couple of these guns in stock, in 45lc. What kind of quality are these guns? Thanks

Sounds like it might be the same thing Cabelas' sells. If it's a rough lookin SAA. Finish is matte lookin almost painted. If it is they're OK. Someone tossed the pros and cons of that VS a higher priced model over on sixguns several years ago.

Re: Anyone heard of Mitchel Revolvers?
The only Mitchell six-guns I remember handling were 18" barreled single-actions with a detachable wire shoulder stock. I haven't seen one since the late 1970's or early 1980's and didn't know they were still in business.
The ones I examined seemed to be well made with a good finish. They had nicely color case hardened frames and I seem to remember at least on of those hoglegs had a really nice set of stag grips. IIRC, one was a .45 LC and another was a .357 Magnum.
I didn't get a chance to shoot either revolver, so I don't know how accurate they were.
