An Old Sharps....

Post by .45colt »

I have never been exposed to the old single shot rifles hardly at all until Marlinman93 started His Great thread about the Ballard Rifles. I saw this old Sharps yesterday .https://shop.joesalter.com/Beautiful-Cu ... ifle-32-40

A beautifully built Borchardt using a military action, and a nice Remington barrel. It's not a Creedmoor barrel though as advertised as Creedmoor barrels were all in much larger cartridges than the .32-40 Ballard that's on that rifle. All things considered it's a fair price for a nicely built old Sharps. Not what I'd call a bargain price, but it's a fair price.
