Please help me I.D. a Win. 94
Please help me I.D. a Win. 94 AE 45 Colt with 20" barrel, cross bolt safety, and checkered semi pistol grip wood. Ser # 630383x. What variation of the model 94 is this please? Thanks, 1886.

1997 manufr'd or possibly 1998. I don't have either catalog, so can't say for sure.

I have a 99 catalog, but they don't show a pistol gripped, checkered, 20" version. All they show is the 24" barrel.
They call that one the Legacy.

It sounds like a Legacy, which were available w/20" barrels in .45 Colt until 1999.
The Trail's End model also was available in .45 Colt/20" barrel, but IIRC, had a straight-gripped stock only.

I thought it was a Legacy too but the 20" barrel threw me. Thanks. 1886.
