I just saw Gaston Glock passed away.
Love or hate the Glock design you can't deny the G series of guns had quite the impact on the world.

I have had several. They are pretty darned good for what they are, even if I never seem to bond with them. He was a fine designer/inventor.

Wow. That's too bad.
Well said Gunny. There is no denying both he, and his design, have made an impact.

Was 94 when he succumbed to Covid. Interesting footnote- Mikhail Kalashnikov also lived to be 94 when he also was claimed by Covid in 2013

(Jk - I do not know how either one passed but blaming everything on Covid still feels right)

Never cared for the block-Glock, but admit it is a very useful handgun (just no soul). Sorry to hear any good gun designer dying. RIP indeed.
