Need prayers for a friend

Post by Ysabel Kid »

A fellow member of my church's safety team, and leader of our Saturday night Mass team, suffered a heart attack about 3 weeks ago. Managed to call his wife to let her know he was driving to the hospital, but didn't make it before crashing. Fortunately the police were right behind him, and the ambulance was there in minutes. However, he's been in a medically-induced coma since he arrived. Our team and whole church has been praying for him. I know the power of prayer from the group here, so humbly request some knee-mail.

Thanks!

Your prayers are working! :D

Jon has come out of the coma, and they have moved him out of the ICU. He does not remember his heart attack or the accident. 25 days in a coma will do that to you.

Thanks! Please keep praying!!! :D

I missed this post, but I'm happy to hear your friend is recovering. That many days messes with a lot of things along with your memory, but that is a big one. I went 28 days and still have issues with short term stuff, but also there are big gaps in my long term memories. Mainly around high school and first couple years of college. Seven years later, it has improved, but still have issues.
Thoughts and prayers for Jon and his recovery. It's tough, but with a lot of support, he will get there.
