got a call today from a old friend.long story short he was selling off some of his guns.he bought this one new in germany in 72-73 at the rod and gun club.
anyways a unaltered 3 screw ruger blackhawk

I have one like it, about the same vintage. They are very accurate. Ruger does not make them like that anymore.
You done good, a very nice piece indeed.

I have one just like in 357 made in 1963. Would not part with it.It is unaltered. Wonderful wheel gun !!!!!!

The original owner sent it back for the recall mod. I was lucky enough to get the original parts with the Gun.
I am also lucky enough to live in the same State with the top Ruger mechanic in the Country.
That would be Wes Flowers. I had Wes do his magic on the piece and restore it to it original condition. The action is like glass and has a 1 1/2-2 lb very crisp trigger.
