I'd ordered dies and brass the day I won the auction and they made it here from Midway a few days before the rifle did
so I had time to make up a few small batches of different loads to start with and also bought a box of the Hornady LeverEvol. to try as well.
Got out pretty early and as I was pulling onto the rifle range there were about a dozen turkey in front of the 200 yd back stop.
by the time I got the camera out all but one had made it into the trees.

Another hazy humid morning.
I'd also installed a set of XS sights on the 94. The adjustment screws are so tight I broke the little screwdriver I brought along.
So with about a 6" hold over @ 50yds. I did manage to get a pretty decent 5 shot group with the 165 LE Hornadys.

The lighter 240 XTP handloads showed some promise with 43 Gr 4198. I had some Cast performance 275s that I had loaded
with a light charge of AA5744 that would make a fun plinking load.

Played around with my Ruger Single Six .32s a bit too.
Really pleased with this rifle. Sure is a thmper( doesn't weigh much) and shows the potential to be one heck of an accurate rifle.
