The Darkside !
I did it in early June before I left for the Philippines ! Made a deal with a friend in Cali for a circa 1934-1936 Remington Model 32 TC 30” . The deal was struck two days before I was leaving for thirty days , so it was decided I’d call him when back in country and he’d send it . That was done but I was gone most of last week in PA for the Northern SxS . So Monday morning I went to the PO and picked the gun up brought it down to the shop and opened her up ! Since I shoot SxS’s almost exclusively anylonger an O/U for me is kinda walking on THE DARKSIDE LOL’s !

Re: The Darkside !
This thing with a very good micrometer bote/choke gauge shows it having 40+ thousandths of constriction in both barrels , which equates into extra full . This thing oughtta be good in the Uhm pigeon ring

I never knew Remington made them there topsy turvy barreled guns!
.040" seems a bit much. Can you measure the bores?

Re: The Darkside !
Very Nice!! Always wanted a 32 and never got one . but in 1976 I shelled out $550.00 for a Remington 3200 skeet gun. I was loading and shooting 8-10 boxes of shells a week. I was livin large . .
Re: The Darkside !
A well used 3200 26” with Purbaugh tubes was my first tubed skeet gun . The next was a new Krieghoff K-32 with Kolar tubes . Later a pair of Remington 32 26” skeets another K-32 30” and now this 32 TC 30” . Still like to have a K-80 and or K-20 but I doubt I ever get either .

A friend very adept at it with better tools than mine came up with the numbers . I’ve got a Parker DH 16 32” that’s just about .040” in both barrels . I’ve got a bunch that are tight .

I have Russian Tula with .687" muzzles but I just forget the bores.
Have a blast with it

FWIW on a kinda side note , last weekend at the Northern SxS they had two new events ! Pre 1960 Big Bore and Small Bore semi auto’s . I shot a circa 1916 Remington Model 11 in the 12 gauge event coming in fourth and a Remington Model 11 20 gauge in the smallbore event coming in first .

Re: The Darkside !
Valmet, were these Remington topsy turvy guns made by Valmet? Something is ringing in my head!
Or did Remington obtain the rights to copy the Valmet design?

Re: The Darkside !
I believe the 3200 and the Valmet may have been kinda close .
