Twice mid to late last year I saw something silhouetted in the street light across the street from my house but I never could get a good look. Wasn't someone's cat or dog I'm positive.
Just now I went outside and saw something move across the street that resembles what I saw last year. Surprisingly enough it came right down next to my drive. I was surpised enough I said something out loud and it stopped and looked at me. I had the garage light on behind me so I got a pretty good look at it this time. A couple minutes after it moved on I heard a cat going nuts down the street.
12-14" from the ground to the top of it's head, pointed nose, maybe 24" long without the tail (roughly 30-32" including the tail), greyish brown color as far as I can tell (hey, it's dark outside!
It's not a 'yote since it hasn't gotten any bigger than when I saw it last year, not a raccoon or anything like that.
The surprising thing to me is that while this is an older neighborhood with a couple of small fields close by, it ain't exactly wildlife central around here since we have two highways close by.
Thoughts or ideas?
Thanks!
